World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. To be held in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Ireland on April 23, 2012. It will see tens of thousands of people go out into their communities to spread the joy and love of reading by giving out free World Book Night paperbacks.
World Book Night, through social media and traditional publicity, will also promote the value of reading, of printed books, and of bookstores and libraries to everyone year-round.
Additionally, April 23 is UNESCO’s World Book Day, chosen due to the anniversary of Cervantes’ death, as well as Shakespeare’s birth and death.

Nicola's Specializes in Out-of-Print and Hard-to-Find-Titles
Nicola's Books specializes in book searches. We can hunt down most titles with very little information. This incudes many out-of-print or hard-to-find titles. Special orders taken at the store before 9:30 a.m. may arrive the next day at no additional charge. We can also ship books direct from our warehouse to anywhere in the country. And of course, books can be ordered online here on our website.
Due to new security rules on credit cards, you only have to give out your credit card information if the book is being shipped to you. For store pickup credit cards will be processed in the store.
